Custom Covers

Ars Obscura Bookbinders has created special custom covers for a variety of purposes.
George Washington's Mount Vernon Estate and Gardens commissioned
leather books for the atmosphere in this distillery room below and in The Gristmill.
Ars Obscura Bookbinders has also provided commissioned covers for movies and television.
A special movie props binding was done for the television series Northern Exposure, 1994.

 

This sculpted, inlaid cover was designed for a title by H.P. Lovecraft.
The front cover was designed by Harold Arthur McNeill.
