THE COMPANY
ARS OBSCURA Bookbinding & Restoration Co. operated its bindery downstairs in the historical Grand Central Arcade in Pioneer Square for 26 years and relocated to the North Beacon Hill neighborhood in 2023. We follow the last 500 years of European trade standards and have been serving the public since 1991.

Client satisfaction is primary. We offer quality bookbinding and restoration at the most reasonable cost.

We should examine your book in person to give you the precise cost and detailed accounts of the restoration procedure. But if you are unable to visit us or are out of state, email/text us some information about your book. Please click HERE to go to our estimate page for more information. This will give us enough of an idea as to what must be done and how much the restoration will cost.

NOTE: We ship locally, nationally, and internationally.

TURNAROUND TIME
The current turnaround time is approximately 6 to 10 months. If you have a priority order, please let us know; we may be able to accommodate it.
